The largest city in the western part of the continent. This three tiered small metropolis hosts a variety of peoples and activity. The lower level is for trade, commerce, and includes the surrounding camps and farms that encompass the city. Rag City outside of the North West Gate is a sprawling slum, home to a large beggar and homeless population. The second level is the main residential quarter. While many people make their homes on all three tiers, this level is reserved for private homes only. There are neighborhoods where some races and cultures have come together to form their own communities, but there are technically no restrictions on who can live in the residential tier, as long as they can afford the taxes to do so. The third tier is for government and inter-kingdom business. Most negotiations and council meetings happen here if the parties are anywhere west of Lake Galifar. The city is ruled by a Mayor who is elected every 20 years. Mayor Nuria Maytosk is the first human elected in almost two centuries, as most see humans as having too short of a lifespan to properly appreciate the scope of the role and legacy of the city. However, she has been lauded as one of the best Mayors the city has ever seen and does not seem to be slowing down even at 65 years old, and with another 10 years left in office.
